"Leadership is the art of getting someone else to do something you want done because he/she wants to do it."
I would like to work diligently to engage and motivate members so they learn, read, think critically, create, collaborate, and ultimately become life-long learners and leaders which I know is not an easy task.
As Governor for the year 2017-2018, I have been privilege to be your Servant Leader in facilitating our LGs to be the best they can be.
Indeed, if we analyze of our accomplishments we must feel proud of our District Board and all Kiwanians who served with passion throughout the year.
Kiwanis, through guidance and example, works to develop future generations of leaders.
Every day, Kiwanians are revitalizing neighborhoods, organizing youth sports programs, planting trees, building playgrounds, and performing countless other projects to help children and communities.
We have a proud history of helping youth and their families, with active and ongoing youth programs:
We provide the stepping stones to help young people learn community service and leadership skills.
If you have thought about becoming involved in community service, Kiwanis offers many opportunities. Our individual clubs decide on their service projects. Their endeavors vary from regional athletic events to recognition of students who have turned their grades around in difficult circumstances.
