The Kiwanis Club of Sault Ste. Marie involves its members and their fund raising efforts to benefit several local service projects. Some of these projects include the following:
- Kiwanis Music Festival
- Algoma Lung Association - Festival of Trees "Childrens' Activity Centre"

- Sault Ste. Marie Police Squires
- Borden Grey 155 Air Cadet Sponsoring Committee
- Newman and 46 Royal Sovereign Sea Cadet Corps.
- Algoma Therapeutic Ride
- Algoma Health Unit Infant Development Program
- Sault Ste. Marie Public Library Early Reading Program
- Sault Ste. Marie Museum Childrens Program
- New Sault Area Hospital Building Campaign - Commited $12,500.00 over 3 years
- Sault Ste. Marie Soup Kitchen Childrens Program
