Planning for the Eastern Canada and the Caribbean District 95th Annual Convention, May 16-19th, 2012 is well underway. The amazing scenery and breathtaking beauty of the island of Barbados makes this a spectacular location to host a convention. Barbados is renowned for its hospitality, beautiful beaches and warm, friendly people.
Conventions are the heart of Kiwanis. Our District’s Convention and Host Committees work tirelessly to make this convention a truly unique and rewarding experience. Our District Education Committee has sent to club Presidents the “The Convention Delegate” module for all delegates to represent their club’s interest at District and International conventions
At this convention, you will have the opportunity to come together with others for Kiwanis programming, to hear speakers, and to attend forums. You will learn and grow by sharing knowledge, views and best practices. When you leave this convention you will be inspired to put into action many new ideas and new strategies.
Barbados is a great place to visit. It is our hope that you plan to come early and stay late, so register now and make it happen.

La planification du 95è congrès du district de l’est du Canada et des Caraïbes qui se tiendra du 16 au 19 mai prochains est à point. Le paysage extraordinaire et la beauté à vous couper le soufflé de l’île de La Barbade en font un endroit spectaculaire pour tenir un congrès. La Barbade est reconnue pour son hospitalité, ses plages et sa population accueillante. .
Les congrès sont le cœur du Kiwanis. Nos comités pour les congrès et le comité-hôte travaillent sans relâche pour faire de ce congrès une expérience vraiment enrichissante et unique. Notre comité pour l’éducation a adressé à chacun des Présidents le module éducatif à l’intention des délégués qui représenteront les intérêts de chaque club lors des congrès du District et de l’International.
À ce congrès, vous aurez l’opportunité de vous réunir ensembles dans le cadre de programmes sur le Kiwanis, d’entendre des conférenciers de marque et d’assister à des forums. Vous apprendrez et grandirez en échangeant sur vos connaissances, vos vues et vos meilleures réalisations. Quand vous retournerez chez-vous à la fin de ce congrès, vous serez inspirés pour implanter plusieurs idées et nouvelles stratégies.
Le Barbade est un endroit formidable à visiter. Nous espérons que vous planifiez arriver tôt et partir après quelques jours additionnels de vacances : nous vous encourageons à vous inscrire au plus tôt et à passer à l’action.
