Greetings and welcome to the official website of the Kiwanis Club of Nassau. I am Beulah Forbes, President of this great club. I would like to thank you for taking the time browse our website. I can assure you that you will find a myriad of information about the club and Kiwanis as a whole. Please feel free to view the service page to find out more information about the goals that will be implemented within the club for this 2011-2012 administrative year.
I invite you to view our website on a continuous basis so that you may keep abreast of the exciting and fun projects that will be implemented throughout the course of this year. A special invitation is extended to you, to participate in our service projects so that together we can make valuable contributions to the community.
Our club is about to celebrate 50 years of Kiwanis existence in the Bahamas to kick off the 50th Anniversary events, we have launched an amateur Song Competition for youth between the ages of 11-18 years, under the theme: "Celebrating 50 Years of Community Service". Competition Rules, Guidelines and Entry Forms can be downloaded from the page named Club 50th. The winners will be announced during our 50th Anniversray Raffle and Bazaar that is scheduled for March 24, 2011, at Arawak Cay Festival Site. Vendor Registration Forms can also be downloaded from the Club 50th Page.
In closing, I invite you to attend our weekly club meetings which are held every Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the Cancer Society Headquarters, situated on Harcourt "Rusty" Bethel Drive, two buildings south of the ZNS compound.
