LG EugenieMy Kiwanis moments:

On Sunday 12 August 2007 at 11:30 am while returning form The 92 Eastern Canada and the Caribbean District Convention the Divisional Secretary and I were involved in an accident, we received minor injuries but my Rav4 is a “write-off”. Both of us were dazed and bruised but our plight was cushioned by two fellow kiwanians: Dezieta Taylor and Andrea Wright of the Black River Club, who later arrived on the scene recognizing my vehicle, supported us with physically and mentally and took charge of the situation. Information of our accident was soon circulated to fellow Kiwanian Family who were at the Kiwanis Convention and others – both in Jamaica and overseas.

My Div. Sec. Marie Raynor and I felt very privileged and blessed to belong to a caring Kiwanis Family, who were very generous with their phone calls, their prayers and their good wishes for our safety and speedy recovery. They were no less caring in their stalwart support when a week 19/08/07 later hurricane Dean devastated South Eastern St. Elizabeth where we both live.

I was supported by Junction Club Members and Past Lieutenant Governors in assisting me to complete by contact visits without a car.

Thank you fellow Kiwanians
