Subject: End of Year Reporting for Kiwanis Clubs
Clubs that have filed all 12 of their monthly reports online through the Kiwanis One web site should not complete the Annual Club Report and have completed their requirements for the 2010- 2011 year. These clubs will have an opportunity to review a compilation of the submitted data in the first week of November and may modify any of the monthly reports if needed, until November 30, 2011.
NEW MEMBER FEE FOR NEW CLUBS CHANGES
“Membership Application and Fee: Before a new club may be organized and the charter presented, the required number of individuals shall have completed an application for membership and paid a new member fee, which shall be $50 for Tier A clubs; $25 for Tier B clubs; and $15 for Tier C clubs. For clubs organized January 1 – September 30, this fee shall also be considered payment of dues, subscription fees, and insurance for the following administrative year. “
So, if a club is opened November of 2010, they would owe $50 per, in most of the US and Canada, and the club would be billed for normal dues in the Fall of 2011. If the club is opened in March of 2011, they would still pay $50 per but would not be billed for annual club dues until the Fall of 2012.
EC&C 'New Club Member Fees' of $15 will be applied in the same fashion.
