Our District Goals
We know that the over riding goal for Kiwanis International is 1 million members by 2015. More members means more service. To reach that goal each member must play their part.
International President Paul hopes that:
- Every club will complete a community assessment to determine who can be invited to a Kiwanis meeting. Every community has new member opportunities.
- Each club needs to assess itself to determine strengths and weaknesses. We must reinvigorate ourselves to retain active participants. We must ignite our membership through meaningful service in our communities.
- Every Kiwanian must reinforce the 4 Is: Invite, Inform, Induct and Involve.
Our District goal of raising one million dollars for our UNICEF/HIV Aids project continues. We must not lose sight of our commitment.
Governor Gary hopes that:
- LG's contact their club presidents once a month to work with, support and encourage them.
- Each club communicates their activities vigorously in local papers, media and on the internet. Become M.A.D. about Kiwanis. (Make a Difference by Marketing All Deeds)
- Every member brings one guest to a meeting or a service project this year. The power of one to light up the Kiwanis world. Bring A Guest so that membership is in the B.A.G.
